January 25, 2010

Not too much new here. We had a busy weekend. Swim lessons, Lowes for the kids workshop (tic tac toe game), playdate at Monkey Joes.
Kids are fine. Milan is really trying to talk but he does better when he looks at your lips and than tries to pronounce. Funny outbreak from ranch dressing on his face (not pic). He had it 2x and that was the only common thing both times. Gabina is into dressing up as ballerinas right now. Tomorrow we will try to go to the animal parade downtown. It's where the animals walk from the train to the arena for the circus. Gabina and I went to the circus 2 years ago and she liked it but it was long. It's really a bit to advanced for kids I think. They don't get the clowns etc.....
Last year they were 3 hours late so we will see if it works out this year!

January 2010

Wow it's been some time since I posted. I guess Christmas came and went. We had my father, Phyllis, Nancy and Lizzie here. And in between rounds of each of us getting sick it was good!
Milan has moved up to his new class in the ladybugs. He likes it because they have more little animals that he LOVES to play with. He likes to stand them and then lay them down telling them night night.
He is not saying that much more but he uses his 10-15 words to 'talk' saying 'no no mama' to the books (and meaning something else entirely).
Gabriella is good as well. Really getting into dancing (no lessons yet) and loved the Nutcracker this year. She is almost done her reading lessons and the book says that upon completion she will have a 2nd grade reading level. She is 9 lessons away. We will continue the lessons with me teaching her new sounds and her reading me chapter books. She starts kindergarten this fall. Hard to believe! Now for the pics....
